The Great Catsby Gala

Acerca de

Roaring for Rescue: The Great Catsby Gala In 2014, KitTea opened its doors in San Francisco's Hayes Valley District as the first cat cafe in the United States - a small, hopeful idea: what if a cup of tea and a cat's company could change lives on both ends of the spectrum? More than a decade later, that idea is still purring along. KitTea has become a refuge for cats who need a second chance, and a second home for the San Franciscans who visit them. But running a rescue with the medical care, the food, the space to heal - all takes more than good intentions. It takes funding.

That's why this November, we're trading our usual teacups for champagne coupes and throwing The Great Catsby Gala: an evening of 1920's glamour, live music, and dancing at the historic Amador Club - all in service of a very unglamorous, very essential goal. Every ticket and every auction bid goes directly toward the cats still waiting for their soft place to land.

We'll toast to the cats who found their homes because someone believed in this mission. We'll raise a glass and hopefully a lot of money for the ones still waiting.

Dress your finest. Bring your roar. Help us write the next chapter for KitTea's cats.

The Great Catsby Gala November 12, 7-11pm, The Amador Club, San Francisco.
