• Socializing and CleaningCon los gatos

  Spend time helping cats adjust by playing with them, offering treats, and cleaning their enclosures.

• Social Media

  Taking pictures and videos for posts on adoptable cats and kittens, and filming rescue actions.

• General

  Working on mailings, fundraising events, thank you cards, errands, phones, moving cats, and facilitating introductions.

• TrappingCon los gatos

  Trap/neuter/return services including trapping cats and transporting them to and from the shelter.

• Marketing

  Public relations, advertising, mailings, grant research and writing, or fundraising with emphasis on social media.

• Construction

  Carpentry or painting in the shelter, and building shelters to house feral cats in winter.

Our volunteers are our lifeline to help us continue rescuing and saving the lives of animals in need. There are many opportunities for volunteering at AnimalKind—from office work to event coordination or just spending time petting a scared stray kitten.
