Stray Paws Rescue is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, foster-based rescue. Our organization believes it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of rescue dogs. We pull animals from high kill shelters on their final minutes and off the streets in St. Louis. We feed strays and sets humane traps for the lost and dumped pets and rescue dogs from unsafe home environments to bring them to safety. We provide spay and neuter services and any necessary medical care our rescue dogs need. Many times the dogs we rescue dogs have been neglected or have lived on the streets for so long they need vet care and special treatments. We work with some of the top veterinarians in St. Louis.
Our mission is to save lives, keep our community informed on humane education, training and loving treatment of our companions, and finding the best fit for both the animals in our care and potential forever families! We are an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue organization we do NOT have a shelter. We are funded solely by donations and adoption fees and continually need contributions to continue our crusade to help as many homeless, abandoned animals as possible.
We are all very dedicated to saving as many dogs as possible. We love all animals and hate to see abused and neglected dogs that no one wants.
