Volunteer roles

  • Cleaning/Feeding VolunteerWith the cats

    Feed cats twice daily, scoop litter boxes, clean enclosures, handle cats, and perform general cleanup at the Milltown Adoption Center.

  • Socializing VolunteerWith the cats

    Help cats get out of their condos for play, exercise, and snuggle time to make them more friendly and adoptable.

  • Adoption CounselorWith the cats

    Work with Adoption Directors to show animals to potential adopters, supervise meet and greets, and complete adoption procedures and paperwork.

  • Crafter

    Create handmade merchandise for event tables; many projects can be done at home with optional monthly group meetings.

  • TNR VolunteerWith the cats

    Help with Trap Neuter Return programs to minimize the feral cat population in New Jersey by trapping, feeding, and transporting cats.

  • TNR DirectorWith the cats

    Leadership role overseeing TNR programs.

  • Visual Communications Coordinator

    Leadership role in visual communications.

  • Other Volunteer Roles

    Additional volunteer opportunities for those with other skills to bring to the organization.
