Volunteer roles

• Temporary HoldWith the cats

  Provide temporary housing for cats waiting to be placed in foster homes.

• Trapping HelpWith the cats

  Assist with TNR trapping projects, including setup, monitoring multiple locations, and loading/unloading equipment.

• Equipment Cleaning

  Clean traps, crates, transfer cages, and carriers after each cat and after trapping sessions.

• Case ManagementWith the cats

  Review adoption and foster applications, ensure best matches, and share cat photos with social media coordinator.

• Fundraising

  Help find and develop fundraising opportunities for the organization.

• Phone & Video Calls

  Call references, schedule vet appointments, and interview candidates.

• Data Entry & Intake Management

  Record information about cats, vet visits, and medications to maintain organizational records.

• Content Creation

  Write posts about adoptable cats, outdoor shelters, TNR, and rescue operations for social media.

• Processes

  Help automate and scale processes, vet appointment tracking, documentation, and adoption agreement preparation.

• Accounting

  Provide accounting and financial management support.

About

We are looking for help across the board - both in person (Brooklyn) and remotely! Depending on workload, this can be anywhere from 2-12h a week.
